Fantasy Hockey Advice Centers to Drop

Here are some Centers you should drop: Ryan O'Reilly Ryan O'Reilly is having a dreadful season so far, putting up just 9 goals, 15 points, 2 PPP, along with 315 Faceoff wins and is a -26. The only value O'Reilly has now is faceoff wins and with his +/- being so bad, it almost offsets how good his Faceoff wins is.You would be better off finding other players that can fill up the faceoff win category. Kevin Hayes Kevin Hayes started off the season fairly well, but in the last month of the season, he only has 3 goals, 8 points, 4 PPP, 35 FW, 37 SOG, and is a -4. He has also been dropped in the lineup to play on the wing along with Scott Laughton and Wade Allison, which will be a massive hit to his fantasy value because he won't be taking as many faceoffs as before. Ryan Strome Ryan Strome is having a horrid start to the season, with only 8 goals, 14 assists, 2 PPP, 57 SOG, and 241 Faceoff wins so far this season. Strome doesn't stand out in any particular category and...

What Montreal Canadiens should do in the Offseason

The Montreal Canadiens had a disastrous season, but they can turn it around in the offseason, and build to be better next season. These are the moves that I would make if I were GM of the Montreal Canadiens. Before the 2022 Draft, a few trades are made Montreal Canadiens trade Jeff Petry to the Carolina Hurricanes for Ethan Bear, Ryan Suzuki, 1st round pick '23. The Hurricanes improve their defense with the addition of Jeff Petry, while the Canadiens get Ethan Bear, Ryan Suzuki, and a 1st round pick next year. The Canadiens also trade Jonathan Drouin, and Mike Hoffman to the LA Kings for Gabriel Vilardi, Jaret Anderson Dolan, 2nd round pick '22. The Kings get Jonathan Drouin and Mike Hoffman, two impact forwards, who will give an instant boost to the offense, while the Kings get two great prospects in Vilardi and Anderson-Dolan, as well as a 2nd round pick. Paul Byron and Joel Edmundsson are traded to the Edmonton Oilers for Kailer Yamamoto, 3rd round pick '23. Montreal ret...

How Arizona Coyotes can turn into a Contender by Draft

The Arizona Coyotes have done a great job of Stockpiling a ton of draft picks in the next couple of drafts. If they can hit on their draft picks in the next two-three drafts, they can become a contender in no time. This is how the Arizona Coyotes should draft in the next couple years. Before the 2022 Draft, two trades are made Arizona Coyotes trade Phil Kessel, Anton Stralman to the Minnesota Wild for Nick Bjugstad, 2022 4th round pick. If Phil Kessel re-signs with Minnesota, the Coyotes get an additional 2024 3rd round pick. The Coyotes Get something in return for Phil Kessel and Anton Stralman, rather than lose him for nothing. Arizona Coyotes trade Jakob Chychurun to the Florida Panthers for Anton Lundell, Mason Marchment, Grigori Denisenko and a 2023 1st round pick. The Panthers as they get that top pair defenseman they have been searching for, while Arizona get three very good players and a 1st round pick. At the 2022 Draft, Arizona Coyotes trade picks 32, 35, 131 to the Anah...

How Seattle Kraken can Build a Stanley Cup Contender

The Seattle Kraken is set to join the NHL in the 2021-22 season, so I thought i would be fitting to try and draft the Seattle Kraken from scratch and turn them into a contending team. At the Expansion draft, the Seattle Kraken make a few trades: Seattle Kraken acquires Zach Parise, Connor Dewar, 1st round pick 2021 from the Minnesota Wild for a 2021 4th round pick. The Kraken is willing to take on Zach Parise's contract but it will cost the Wild Connor Dewar and a 1st round pick as well. Seattle Kraken acquires 3rd round pick '21, 3rd rd pick '23 to protect Cizikas, Clutterbuck from being selected by Seattle. This is a no-brainer for the Islanders because Cizikas and Clutterbuck are part of their identity line; they need to keep them at all costs. Seattle Kraken acquires Marc-Eduoard Vlasic, 2022 1st round pick from the San Jose Sharks for 2021 3rd round pick. The Kraken takes on Vlasic's terrible contract at the cost of the Shark's first-round pick in 2022. Seattl...

HOW OTTAWA SENATORS CAN WIN THEIR FIRST STANLEY CUP

The Ottawa Senators have never won a Stanley Cup since rejoining the NHL in 1993, but I think they have the pieces necessary to do so. Today, I will be trying to turn the Ottawa Senators into a Stanley Cup Contender and get them their first Stanley Cup victory. Before the Expansion Draft, the Ottawa Senators make one major trade. Ottawa Senators trade Evgenii Dadonov to the Seattle Kraken for a 2021 3rd round pick. Evgenii Dadonov hasn't quite fit in with the Ottawa Senators, perhaps going to Seattle might revive his career a bit. Ottawa Senators lose Derek Stepan to the Seattle Kraken in the expansion draft. Before the 2021 Draft, one trade is made: Ottawa Senators trade Artem Anisimov, Ryan Dzingel to the Nashville Predators for Nick Cousins, Rocco Grimaldi. The Predators improve their depth on offense with the additions of Anisimov and Dzingel, while the Senators add some decent role players in Cousins and Grimaldi. The Ottawa Senators finished the 2020-21 season with the 4th w...

How New York Rangers can become a Dynasty

The New Rangers already have some nice pieces in place, but for some reason, they just can seem to put it all together. If they draft correctly and make the right trades, the Rangers have the potential to become a dynasty. At the trade deadline, the New York Rangers make one major trade: New York Rangers trade Pavel Buchnevich, Brendan Smith, Ryan Strome to the San Jose Sharks for Marc Eduord Vlasic, and a 2021 1st round pick. The Sharks retain 1 million of Marc Eduord Vlasic's annual cap hit. The Rangers get a Marc Eduord Vlasic, who has a terrible contract but will also gain a 1st round pick for taking on his contract. The Sharks get Pavel Buchnevich and Ryan Strome, two top 6 forwards, and Brendan Smith, a top 6 defenseman. The New York Rangers miss the playoffs in the 2020-21 season and end up with the 5th pick in the draft. The New York Rangers lose Brendan Lemieux to the Seattle Kraken in the Expansion draft. At the 2021 draft, the New York Rangers trade Jacob Trouba to the...

HOW ANAHEIM DUCKS CAN BECOME A CONTENDER

The Anaheim Ducks are a rebuilding team right now, so they won't likely make the playoffs this season, so they should trade their veteran players to stack up on prospects and picks for the future. Doing this would enable the Anaheim Ducks to build a legit contending team. At the trade deadline, the Anaheim Ducks make one major trade: Ryan Getzlaf is traded to the Calgary Flames for Sam Bennett, a 2021 1st round pick. The Calgary Flames a great veteran center in Ryan Getzlaf to help bolster the depth at center, while the Ducks get Sam Bennett, as well as a 1st round pick. The Anaheim Ducks finish the 2020-21 season with the 5th worst record; However, the Ducks slide to the 7th pick as two teams jump them in the 2021 draft lottery. Before the Expansion draft, the Anaheim Ducks make one major trades: Anaheim Ducks trade Cam Fowler to the New Jersey Devils for Sami Vatanen, Nick Merkley, Michael McLeod, 2022 2nd round pick. The Devils get Cam Fowler, a top 4 defenseman, while the Duck...
