 This is a Quick update on the Conference Finals Matchups in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Eastern Conference  Florida Panthers Sweep Carolina Hurricanes 4-0 Game 1 took an eternity before Matthew Tkachuk scored in the 4th OT to give the Patnhers a 1-0 lead in the series; Sergei Bobrovsky made 63 saves in the win. Game 2 went to Overtime again, and resulted in yet another Matthew Tkachuk GWG, this time the goal was scored just 1:51 into overtime on the powerplay. Sergei Bobrovsky was the story of game 3, as he made 32 saves to shutout Carolina, 1-0 to give the Florida Panthers a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. So if they are to re-sign any of those free agents, they will have to be clever and move around some big contracts. This is what the Florida Panthers should do in the offseason. If the Florida Panthers want to win a Stanley Cup, they should make these moves. At the expansion draft, one trade is made: Florida Panthers trade Keith Yandle to the Seattle Kraken for a 2021 2nd round pick, 2021 3rd rd pick.  If the Kraken make the playoffs, the Panthers get an additional 2022 2nd rd pick. The Florida Panthers were an absolute disaster during 2000s because they failed at drafting good players despite having high picks nearly every year. If the Florida Panthers drafted well during those years, they could have perhaps build a playoff caliber team or even a contendening team.
