Fantasy Hockey Advice Players to Trade Away

Here are some players you should Trade Away: Brock Nelson Brock Nelson has a track record of having hot starts to the season and then cooling off in the second half of the season. Nelson already has 11 goals, 22 points, and 6 PPP so far this season, but his best scoring season was last year when he had 37 goals and 59 points. It's already established what type of player Brock Nelson is, he is a player who excels in the first half of the season but cools off in the second half. For this reason, it would be best to trade away Brock Nelson.  Dominik Kubalik Dominik Kubalik is arguably the biggest steal in fantasy hockey this season, as he wasn't drafted in many leagues, however, his hot start has him rostered in 81% of Fantasy leagues. Kubalik has 9 goals, 13 assists, 10 PPP, and is a +4 so far this season, playing on a line with Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond and Detroit's 1st PP unit. It would be a good idea to trade Kubalik now while his value is sky-high. Martin Necas Mart...

Why Chicago Blackhawks should be Sellers

Chicago Blackhawks have the 3rd worst record in the Western Conference, and most likely will miss the playoffs again, so it would make sense for them to trade away the veteran players at the trade deadline. This is what the Chicago Blackhawks should do at the trade deadline. Trades: Chicago Blackhawks make a three-team trade with the Edmonton Oilers and Arizona Coyotes Chicago Blackhawks get Mikko Koskinen, Alex Galchenyuk, Ryan Dzingel, 2nd round pick '23 (from EDM). Edmonton Oilers get Marc Andre Fleury, 7th round pick '23 (from ARI). Arizona Coyotes get Brett Connolly, Kyle Turris, Devin Shore, 4th round pick '23 (from EDM). This trade helps out all teams involved; the Oilers get Marc-Andre Fleury, he gives them a veteran goalie they have been desperately looking for. In order for the trade to work out, the Oilers and Blackhawks need to move salaries, so Brett Connly, Kyle Turris, and Devin Shore are moved to the Coyotes along with a 4th round pick from Edmonton. Chicag...

What's Wrong w/ LA Kings

The LA Kings are sitting just outside a playoff spot right now, with a 12-10-5 record (29 points) through 27 games this season. Although the Kings have some nice pieces, they aren't quite good enough to be a contender just yet. In this blog, I explain what is wrong with the LA Kings and what they can do to become a contending team. Issues w/ LA Kings: 1. Not enough Scoring 2. No Secondary scoring 3. Best Prospects are Not NHL ready 4. Don't have a successor for Jonathan Quick The LA Kings do not score enough; they have only scored 76 goals this season, which is the 8th least in the NHL. Anze Kopitar leads the team in points with 25 points in 27 games, Alex Iaffalo has 9 goals and 17 points in 27 games, Adrian Kempe leads the team in goals with 11 goals and 16 points in 27 games. Viktor Arvidsson has played in only 20 games, but he has 6 goals and 14 points in those games. Phillip Danault has 14 points in 27 games and is a +5; Drew Doughty leads defenseman in scoring, with 13 p...

HOW COLORADO AVALANCHE CAN BECOME A DYNASTY AGAIN

The Colorado Avalanche was a Dynasty in the NHL from 1996-2003, winning 2 Stanley Cups during that timeframe. If the Colorado Avalanche wants to become a dynasty, they will need to make a few adjustments to the team. At the trade deadline, two major trade is made: Colorado Avalanche trade Andre Burakovsky, Valeri Nischuskin, Conor Timmins, 2021 1st round pick to the Buffalo Sabres for Sam Reinhart, Colin Miller.   The Avalanche add Sam Reinhart and Colin Miller to bolster their depth for an extensive playoff run. The Avalanche also trades Greg Pateryn, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, and a 2022 4th rd pick to the Detroit Red Wings for Valtteri Filppula, Luke Glendening. The Avalanche add some key role players in Filppula and Glendening for a playoff run. The Colorado Avalanche ends up winning the Stanley cup in 6 games over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Before the expansion draft, the Avalanche trade Erik Johnson, 2023 1st round pick to the Ottawa Senators for Vitaly Abramov, 3rd r...
