NHL Awards Race Tracker

The NHL's regular season starting to wind down, so I thought it would be fitting to track the race for various awards. Hart: C.McDavid D.Pastrnak L.Draisaitl T.Thompson J.Robetson Connor McDavid is the favorite to win the Hart Trophy this season, after losing out on the Hart Trophy last season, despite a 122-point season. McDavid is on track to set new career highs in goals, PPP, and points. If there is anyone that has a shot at challenging McDavid, it is David Pastrnak, because not only is he having a great individual season, he is helping lead the Bruins to the best record in the NHL. Leon Draisaitl is constantly overlooked because he plays with McDavid, but few players in the league are more consistent than him. Tage Thompson and Jason Robertson have cooled off a bit lately, so they most likely will not be the Hart winner. Art Ross: C.McDavid-124 L.Draisaitl-97 N.Kucherov-94 D.Pastrnak-86 T.Thompson-85 Connor McDavid is running away with this award right now; he has 27 more poin...

Fantasy Hockey All Star Edition Goalies

These have been the best goalies in Fantasy Hockey this season Linus Ullmark Linus Ullmark has statistically been the best goalie in the entire NHL, with a dominant 22-1 record, a 1.87 GAA,.938 SV%, and 2 shutouts. It's rather unfortunate that Ullmark won't be named a starter because there is just so much star talent on the Bruins, but he has been an important part of the team. It's worth noting that Jeremy Swayman has a 9-3 record with a 2.51 GAA, and .905 SV%, which is decent, but a far cry from how dominant Ullmark has been this season.  Connor Hellebuyck After a rough season last year, Connor Hellebuyck is having a tremendous season with the Winnipeg Jets; he has a 20-10 record with a 2.42 GAA, .924 SV%, and 3 Shutouts. Although Hellebuyck is not an All-Star starter in the Central division, he has outplayed Saros this season by a wide margin. Moreover, he has been a major reason why the Jets are currently sitting in 2nd place in the division. Jake Oettinger Jake Oettin...

What Edmonton Oilers should do in Free Agency

The Edmonton Oilers must improve their team in free agency if they are to be a legit contender in the Western Conference. These are the moves the Edmonton Oilers should make in free agency. Before the Free Agency period, they need to first move some players that might be exposed for the expansion draft. One of the players that could be in danger of being drafted by Seattle is Adam Larsson, who also happens to be a UFA. Adam Larsson is too important to the Oilers for them to lose him for nothing in the expansion draft, so they should move him beforehand. Edmonton Oilers trade Adam Larsson to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Alexandre Texier, 2nd round pick '22.  This is a trade that works out great for both teams because the Blue Jackets get a top 4 Right Handed defenseman, while the Oilers get a young forward in Alexandre Texier, who has top 6 potential and a 2nd round pick. Edmonton Oilers lose Ethan Bear to the Seattle Kraken in the expansion draft. Before heading into free agency,...
