Disappointing Players in Fantasy Hockey

Brayden Point

Brayden Point is off to a slow start to the 2019-20 campaign; he only has 3 G and 7 Points so far this season.
Last season, Point had 41 G and 92 points and was one of the most reliable fantasy players.
This season is a different story as Point has had the same success so far this season.
If you own Brayden Point, there is no need to panic because he is just off to a slow start.

Taylor Hall

Taylor Hall had very high fantasy expectations heading into this season because the Devils seemed to have a transformed roster and he is on a contract year;
however, Taylor Hall has been a massive disappointment for fantasy owners; he only has 1 G and 7 points so far this season
There is still time for Taylor Hall to turn his season around but temper your expectations because his MVP season was an outlier.

Timo Meier

Timo Meier is off to a very slow start to the season; he only has 2 G and 4 points so far this season.
Last season Meier had 30 G and 66 pts and was a really reliable fantasy option.
If you own Timo Meier, you have to hope that he turns it around sooner than later.

John Klingberg

John Klingberg is having a bad start to the 2019-20 campaign; he only has a 1 G 2 A so far this season.
Klingberg has never finished a season with less than 40 points, so he should eventually turn his season around.
If you own John Klingberg, just be patient and the production will come.

PK Subban

PK Subban is having a subpar start to the season; he only has 1 G and 3 A so far this season.
Subban's production has gone down the last few season but many people believed he would have a bounceback season with the NJ Devils;
unfortunately, that hasn't happened and Subban has been a massive disappointment in fantasy especially cause he was taken so early.
If you own PK Subban in Fantasy, i would try to trade him because i don't see him turning it around unless the Devils make a drastic change on defense.

Carter Hart

Carter Hart had very high hype headed into this season; he was thought of as the future of the Philadelphia Flyers.
However, Hart has struggled mightily at the beginning of the season, leaving many people in doubt of his superstar potential;
Hart has a 2-3 record with a 3.32 GAA and .864 SV% so far this season.
If you want to trade for a goalie, Carter Hart would be a good one to target because of his early struggles.

Keeper fantasy leagues are a variation of traditional fantasy sports leagues where participants are allowed to keep a certain number of players from their previous season's roster onto their team for the upcoming season. The number of players that can be kept, as well as the specific rules regarding keeping players, vary from league to league and are typically determined by the league commissioner or by a set of agreed-upon rules among league members. In a keeper league, the kept players usually come with a cost, such as forfeiting a specific draft pick in the upcoming draft or having to pay a predetermined fee. This adds a strategic element to the game, as managers must decide which players to keep based on their performance, potential, and value relative to the cost of keeping them. Keeper leagues often provide a deeper level of engagement and strategy compared to standard fantasy leagues because managers need to consider long-term player development and roster management beyond ...

Here are some tips to help you dominate your Fantasy Hockey Keeper Leagues. Number of Keepers and League Settings When deciding on keepers, it is very important to know how many keepers the league allows you to keep and the league scoring system, because there are players that work better in H2H CAT leagues as opposed to H2H leagues with standard scoring categories.  If you can only keep a few players, focus on those who provide the most value in your specific scoring format. Keep players who excel in categories that are heavily weighted in your league (e.g., power-play points, hits, blocks, faceoffs). If the league uses Rotisserie or Points settings, you will have to take that...

2024 Offseason Preview ft. New Jersey Devils

The New Jersey Devils the playoffs in the 2023-24 season after making it into the second round of the playoffs last season, and finished the season with a total of 81 points, a 38-39-5 record; With Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier in the midst of their primes, the New Jersey Devils really need to start to buckle down and put together the pieces for a contending team. The good news is that the New Jersey Devils have the benefit of having the 10th overall pick, which they could move to acquire a netminder, and they also have plenty of cap space to add other players as well. This coming offseason is a big one for the New Jersey Devils front office because after striking out on a netminder last offseason, the pressure to acquire a netminder this offseason is immense for GM Tom Fitzgerald, who might be on the hotseat if he can't find a way to fix the mess. Before the 2024 NHL Draft, the New Jersey Devils make two major trades New Jersey Devils acquire Jacob Markstrom, Matthew Coronato, 1st...
